FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (August 2, 2024) – The New England Revolution has made a significant addition to their squad by signing Argentinian winger Luca Langoni from Club Atlético Boca Juniors. The agreement spans until the end of the 2027 Major League Soccer season, with an option for one additional year in 2028. This acquisition comes under the league’s U22 Initiative and is pending the receipt of his P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

At just 22 years old, Langoni joins MLS following a high-profile transfer that marks a record move for his new club. Originally hailing from Gregorio de Laferrère, Argentina, he has accumulated an impressive total of 69 senior appearances with an output of 11 goals and four assists between 2022 and early 2024.

In subsequent seasons, he featured prominently again: contributing three goals and another assist over seventeen appearances last year as well as starting during March’s Supercopa Argentina Final—a match where Boca triumphed decisively with a scoreline of 3-0 against their opponents.
