Sven Botman is a Dutch central defender who came through the ranks for the famous Ajax academy. After starting his playing career with Jong Ajax, including a loan spell at Heerenveen, Botman earned a 9m euro move to French side Lille, where he continued to impress. He made 73 appearances for Lille in two seasons, including in the Champions League. He has been capped by Holland at every level from Under-15 to Under-21.
