Milan agree personal terms with Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana
Serie A giants Milan have agreed personal terms with Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana, as a move for the Frenchman approaches.
The Rossoneri have been keen on signing the player for days now and it seems as if progress is being made. Daniele Longo has reported that Milan accelerated contacts for Fofana after France’s EURO 2024 exit and this has led to a verbal agreement over personal terms.
The agreement over a contract is now in Milan’s hand and they would hand him a four-year or a five-year deal worth 3.5 million per season. An offer has also been presented by Monaco and it is at 12 million plus bonuses. If the offer is rejected, Milan aren’t expected to raise it – for now.
Fofana himself is now pushing to sign for Milan and is hoping to join Mike Maignan and Theo Hernandez at his next club.
