Wan-Bissaka has just one year left on his contract with United preferring to sell him this summer rather than lose him for free at the end of the 2024/25 season.
Signed from Crystal Palace in 2019 for over £45million, the right-back has been a solid yet unspectacular player for the Red Devils and under Erik ten Hag he’s found himself behind Diogo Dalot in the pecking order.
It was reported at the start of the July that Wan-Bissaka was on West Ham’s shortlist with new manager Julen Lopetegui keen to improve his defence.
They’ve already signed Max Kilman, who worked with Lopetegui at Wolves, for £40m and have agreed a deal for another centre-back in the form of Jean-Clair Todibo.
The Nice star was a top target for United but they were forced to end their interest due to Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s ownership of both the Premier League and Ligue 1 clubs.
Todibo now looks set to move to the London Stadium on loan with the option to make the deal permanent for £27m, though it is said Juventus are trying to hijack the transfer.

However, the Telegraph add that it is not clear whether the 26-year-old, who is also attracting interest from Turkish sides Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, is actually willing to leave Old Trafford this summer.
To date, Wan-Bissaka has made 190 appearances for United, winning an FA Cup and League Cup, as well as reaching another FA Cup and Europa League final.
He also started their first game of pre-season – a 1-0 loss to Rosenborg – and could be in action again when they take on Rangers on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils are in the process of pulling off a huge transfer coup by beating Real Madrid to the £50 signing of highly-rated defender Leny Yoro.
