Before being presented with Real Madrid, he underwent various medical tests for his nose fracture, and the results were positive.

The Frenchman Kylian Mbappé will not undergo surgery on his nose following the fracture he suffered on June 17 during the Eurocup, and he will start his vacation from this Wednesday without a return date until early the second week of August, so he will not be present on the tour of the United States.

The new Real Madrid player, presented in a grand manner on Tuesday at the Santiago Bernabéu, underwent physical tests before the event, and after evaluating his case, the club’s doctors decided not to operate on the nose fracture he suffered a month ago. They are confident that rest during the holidays will allow him to return at 100%.

Since that June 17 incident with the collision with Austrian Kevin Danso, Mbappé has played four matches, three of them wearing a protective mask, and the last one against Spain in the Eurocup semifinals without a mask due to discomfort it caused.

A nose fracture that prevented him from being 100% fit physically in the Eurocup and which, as EFE has learned, the club believes can recover without the need for surgery.

Additionally, Real Madrid will prioritize Mbappé’s rest after a long season before he travels to the United States tour, which the team will embark on July 28 for three friendlies against Milan, Barcelona, and Chelsea.

The same decision applies to other players who reached at least the semifinals with their national teams in the summer tournaments: Dani Carvajal, Ferland Mendy, Eduardo Camavinga, Jude Bellingham, Fede Valverde, and Aurelien Tchouaméni.
