Without Kylian Mbappé (25), Paris Saint-Germain’s forward line will look a little different next season. However, despite both Randal Kolo Muani (25) and Gonçalo Ramos (23) struggling in their debut seasons at the Parc des Princes, the hierarchy at the club wishes to retain both players, despite approaches.
Ramos made a €65m move from Benfica to PSG last summer, however, it wasn’t smooth sailing in his debut campaign. Despite making 40 appearances and scoring 14 goals in all competitions, the Portugal international had to settle for a place on the bench more often than not.
However, with Mbappé departing, Luis Enrique wants to put trust in both Ramos and Kolo Muani. However, that doesn’t mean that they are both completely off the market and according to L’Équipe, PSG would be open to listening to offers. PSG have already pushed back an approach for Kolo Muani from Borussia Dortmund during this transfer window.
The publication adds that Atlético Madrid have also approached PSG in order to sound out the availability of Ramos. Whilst Les Parisiens, and the player, want to continue working together, a significant offer could change matters.
