Juventus prepare bizarre offer to sign £19 million West Ham player this sume – Hammers News – West Ham United FC

Some really strange news has just come to light regarding West Ham United ace Konstantinos Mavropanos.

Konstantinos Mavropanos was brought to West Ham by David Moyes last year, and many Hammers fans are expecting him to play a key role under Julen Lopetegui this season and beyond, alongside Max Kilman.

The 26-year-old recently admitted that it took him quite some time to adjust to life at the London Stadium, and Moyes’s preferred playing style specifically.

At times, Mavropanos has looked like an absolute colossus for West Ham, but on other occasions he has been miles off the pace.

I personally think he’s a very capable defender who will come good for West Ham under Lopetegui’s guidance.

However, a bizarre claim about the former Arsenal and Stuttgart man has just come to light…

Shock Konstantinos Mavropanos claim 11 months into West Ham career

So a really baffling claim has just emerged regarding the the 6ft 4in Hammers defender.

According to Calciomercato.it, Juventus could try to sign the Greece international defender from West Ham this summer.

And in order to tempt the East London outfit into selling, they could send Arthur Melo to the London Stadium in a straight swap.

Excuse me while I clear up the coffee I just spat out through laughing hysterically whilst typing that.

Calcio Mercato suggest that he’s valued at around £17 million now.

Despite his struggles during our pre-season opener yesterday, I still have full faith that Konstantinos Mavropanos will come good for West Ham.

And trust me, the Hammers definitely won’t be swapping him for Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo. The Brazilian is nowhere good enough for the Premier League, and he doesn’t possess the physical capabilities needed to thrive in England.

Besides, why would we swap a centre-back for a central midfielder – it just makes absolutely no sense to me.

However, if the Hammers do decide to sell the Greek centre-back, it will be for a fee well above what we paid Stuttgart for him 11 months ago.
