Despite significant interest from Fenerbahce, Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman has made the decision not to join Jose Mourinho’s side.
Bayern Munich are ready to sell Kingsley Coman this summer and have their sights set on replacing him with Dsir Dou. But the future of the 28 year old remains uncertain, with three years left on his current contract.
Fenerbahce were said to be heavily interested in signing Coman. And according to Sky Sport, they even made further attempts over the last few days to pursuade the winger to join them. But it appears that Coman has made up his mind, and will not be making the switch to the team coached by Jose Mourinho.
FC Barcelona have also been linked with a move for Coman in recent weeks, but it is unlikely that they will be able to afford his signature. PSG are also thought to be showing interest in the France international.
Coman is coming off a rather disappointing campaign. He struggled with injuries for the majority of the second half of the season and managed just five goals and three assists in 27 appearances. He was also limited to just one appearance off the bench for France at the European Championship.
It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Kingsley Coman, who will likely have to make do with a spot on the bench if he does stay at Bayern beyond the summer transfer window. Bayern have already signed Michael Olise, and are now pressing on with their plans to bring in Dsir Dou and Xavi Simons.
Should Bayern Munich part ways with Kingsley Coman this summer?
