Britain’s richest man, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, has confirmed he wants to buy Manchester United.
The billionaire’s chemical firm, Ineos, announced in a brief statement that it had lodged interest in buying the club from the Glazer family.
Ratcliffe is a self-confessed Man United fan and is in the running to buy the clubgetty
